Veterans Support
At TCD, we believe in the power of collaboration to support mental health and wellbeing. By working with like-minded organisations , we can reach more veterans, offer tailored support, and create lasting change.

Das Snax
Veterans Brew and Banter
TCD, in proud partnership with Das Snax and Help For Heroes, is delighted to introduce Brew & Banter – a welcoming new monthly Veterans Coffee Afternoon designed to bring former service personnel together in a relaxed and supportive environment. Held on the last Friday of every month from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Jo Cox House in Batley, these gatherings are all about creating a space where veterans can unwind, enjoy a brew, and connect with others who understand the unique experiences that come with military life.
Whether you’re looking for a light-hearted chat, meaningful conversation, or simply the comfort of a warm drink and friendly faces, Brew & Banter offers an inclusive and informal setting. The afternoons are completely free to attend, with refreshments provided courtesy of our generous partners. No need to book in advance – just drop in via the side entrance at Jo Cox House, 90 Commercial Street, Batley, WF17 5DS.
We understand how important connection and community can be, and we’re here to make sure no one feels alone. So if you’re a veteran looking for somewhere to spend a couple of hours with good company and plenty of banter, come along – you’ll be met with a warm welcome.

Help for Heroes:
Veterans Moving Forward
Starting June 2025, TCD will be delivering the Veterans Moving Forward course in partnership with Help for Heroes. This course is designed to support veterans as they transition into civilian life, offering practical tools, emotional support, and a safe space to share experiences.

“Adjusting to civilian life can be challenging, but having a supportive community like TCD makes a real difference. This course will give veterans the skills and confidence to move forward.” — Help for Heroes Representative
At TCD, our mission is simple: to create safe, inclusive spaces where veterans feel heard, supported, and empowered — and these partnerships are a vital part of making that happen.
